Tribute to Dr Abdul Kalam

Kalamisation

15th Oct 1931 to 27th July 2015

India has been prosperous in producing a wealth of sons, daughters, saints and even Gods,
as great legends etched in the annals of history, but today she weeps bitterly in bereavement for the loss of one more of her jewels from her treasures.

A.P.J. Abdul Kalam from Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu was one of her most versatile and precious. To best sum up Abdul Kalam in one sentence is, to say that he could simply place his hand in murky water and turn it, into pure crystal clear, thirst quenching water to drink.

This man was no GOD but, he moved the hearts and souls of people who sealed his messages with their tears of joy everywhere in India, and the world.

Like Arjuna in the Baghavad Geetha who was both warrior and righteous, Abdul Kalam too was not only a humanitarian, but he was once the President of a powerful nation and also the architect of its modern nuclear and rocket technology which meant that he had the power to either pat someone on their back or annihilate them instantly or do both just for fun.

He exhibited the Universal truth about the equation of power and humility, and how the truly powerful actually behave to appreciate and ultimately preserve peace.

KALAM is a word that is now on the drawing board and in the process of being incorporated into the English dictionary from just being his name.

Similar to the word ‘Bangalored’ which originated from India, which was inducted into the dictionary, but rarely used in everyday language because it is an uncommon term.

“KALAM” will evolve from the name of a great man because of his achievements that made him one, to a word that has a meaning that encompasses the qualities of tolerance, love, patience, loyalty, humility, logic, power and peace.

It should focus on a word relating to super goodness.
This is the highest honour and tribute the world can offer anybody as a timeless parting gift for an immortal soul, and as a token of gratitude to a supremo for his untiring contributions to the world.

It has to be a word that could be used every day in our lives that will remind us of this legend as sure as we remember to breathe.

A word to proof the sanctity of a religion which he is a brethren of and a religion that is prejudiced by malicious assumptions which are contrary to what it actually is.

A word to proof that his GOD and religion are pure without deviant agendas, simply because this silver-haired man is its prodigy only proving that if ISLAM could mother a son so fine such as him, then it instantly and absolutely vindicates her from maleficence, just like murky water turning clear, pure and fit to drink.

A word describing how the subtlety of peace practised in every home whether a one with a thatched roof or an ultra-modern dwelling, which produces the ripple effect to transcend itself into an enormous tidal wave of tranquillity and stability, which is the fundamental basis of what makes a successful Nation.

A word relating to his life of education, diligence, hard work and faith in his God being instrumental in his worldly accomplishments.

Gentle World! The verb, KALAM should, in essence, define justice, peace, love in general.
Dr Abdul Kalam strived for Kalamisation of the world and did his best to guide all walks of life to be Kalam by example.

Now, you have an awesome Kalam day.

JAI Kalamisation.

Colours of a Peacock

Colours of a Peacock Nestled deep in an oil palm plantation in the humble town of Maran in central West Malaysia, is a century-old Hindu temple that rears peacocks. The peacock is considered sacred because mythology has it that it is the preferred mode of transportation of Lord Subramanian, who is also the patron deity of worship in the said temple. The peacock never seems to amaze me with its awesome coat of colours that it wears, especially when it fans out its feathers in a courtship ritual. What truly inspires me from this, is to appreciate the finer details of every colour application that exists around us.  There is not a single thing in nature that is off colour or coloured in bad taste, it simply means that God has coloured everything we see meticulously with perfect design and taste. We are then, only left with the task to view, appreciate, replicate and occasionally write about it in absolution. EDit. This picture was taken during a visit to Maran Maruth...

Synchronicity (Video)

Eashwer Dass Synchronicity This is an experiment of removing the original soundtrack of three different Indian classical dances and replacing it with only one randomly chosen soundtrack. The outcome is quite amazing, it is almost as if there is an auto choreographic built-in mechanism that magically synchronises the two almost perfectly. EDit.

Two African Women Rebranded

NOT TRUE This is an awesome portrait of two beautiful women on the cover page of an elite fashion magazine featuring the untapped beauty of the African continent and her people. Both women are highly acclaimed professional models, bathed in the finest branded perfume, masked in branded makeup, wearing a fine collection of branded non-precious contemporary jewellery and cloaked in trendy summer wear.  And that's just nonsense! THE TRUTH These two African women woke up this morning and promised that they would live life to its fullest as they do every day, as simply as they breathe the crisp Ethiopian air. BEAUTIFUL Dressed in their pleasant hand woven garb and donning local handcrafted colourful adornments wrapped around limbs and neck they set off to catch a bus into their local village town.  EDit .
